In our department, second-grade students are divided into two courses after the common education of the first grade, at which point they study more specialized subjects.
In the Information Systems Course, students learn mainly about computers, software, and programming, and we foster talented persons who are strong in the information processing field.
In the Electronic Information and Communication Course, students learn mainly about electronic circuits, light applications, electronic communications, and we foster talented persons who are strong in electronics and communications engineering.

However, we also offer a common education throughout these two courses, with the goal of producing talented persons who are strong in these combinations of domains.
