Kagawa University has a system of student supporter and tutor for new international students. Using this system, a first-year international student will be assigned with one senior student as her/his supporter and tutor. Normally, new students will be assisted by these senior students for one year from admission. Since the supporter and tutor are usually selected from the same department of the new student and live in Kagawa more than a year, they can help and give advice for study as well as for settling down to start new life in Kagawa. Their support includes helping to open bank account and to buy mobile phone.
